چکیده

Correlation effects in nuclear matter at finite temperatures are studied for subnuclear densities (ρ < ρ0) and medium excitation energy, where a nonrelativistic potential approach is possible. A quantum statistical approach is given, where clusters are treated under the influence of a clustered medium treated within a mean field approximation. Spectral functions, in-medium cross sections, and reaction rates are considered as well as the formation of a quantum condensate. In particluar, exploratory calculations are shown with respect to the pseudo gap in the nucleon level density close to the superfluid phase transition. Estimates of isospin singlet pairing and quartetting in nuclear binding energies are given.

A Self-Consistent Solution to the Nuclear Many-Body Problem at Finite Temperature

The properties of symmetric nuclear matter are investigated within the Green’s functions approach. We have implemented an iterative procedure allowing for a self-consistent evaluation of the single-particle and two-particle propagators. The in-medium scattering equation is solved for a realistic (non-separable) nucleon-nucleon interaction including both particle-particle and hole-hole propagati...

Bulk and single-particle properties of hyperonic matter at finite temperature

Bulk and single-particle properties of hot hyperonic matter are studied within the Brueckner-Hartree-Fock approximation extended to finite temperature. The bare interaction in the nucleon sector is the Argonne V18 potential supplemented with an effective three-body force to reproduce the saturating properties of nuclear matter. The modern Nijmegen NSC97e potential is employed for the hyperon-nu...

Three- and Four-body correlations in nuclear matter

Few-nucleon correlations in nuclear matter at finite densities and temperatures are explored. Using the Dyson equation approach leads to effective few-body equations that include self energy corrections and Pauli blocking factors in a systematic way. Examples given are the nucleon deuteron in-medium reaction rates, few-body bound states including the α-particle, and α-particle condensation.

Short-Range Correlations in Nuclear Matter at Finite Temperatures and High Densities

The density and temperature dependence of the nucleonic single particle spectral function in symmetric nuclear matter at finite temperatures and densities beyond normal nuclear matter density is investigated in a model emphasizing short-range correlations and phase space aspects. A simple but self-consistent approach based on quantum transport theory is used. In particular we consider the densi...
